Half pint at Grrrowlers. Hazy Orangina pour, light froth. Lemon herbal, slightly floral, soft nose. Orange-lemon, veggie pith, seltzer, salt, slight acid, soda burn, slightly yeasty finish. Kinda clean & tasty but lacking the texture or complexity of a Saison. Okay.

9% edition on tap @Thirsty. Not quite black, thick oatmeal head, goblet pour. Dusty malt, fume-y char, flat coffee, potent dry crust. Creamy, very char-y, slightly soapy, bitter white grapefruit, burnt flour. Classically bitter & dry. Whatevs to solid. I admittedly had higher standards after dinner.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is crisp citrus and white berry. Med body or so. Flavor is pale stone fruit (Peach?), citrus, melon. Very dry. Decently bitter. Tasty.

Can from Tavour. Aroma of roast and sweet sugar. Pours very deep brown with creamy, dark brown head that starts large and retains well. Flavor is sweet with slight roast. Moderate chocolate.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear bright gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is bready with grass/spice. Med body. Flavor begins lightly/sweetly bready but enough Noble hop comes forth to solve that issue. Clean. Arguably crisp. Tasty for sure.

16 oz. Aroma is chalky, grassy. Pours mostly clear golden with a two finger off white head with excellent retention. Taste has a light bitterness with moderate bready malt sweetness, finishing dry.

Can from Tavour. Pours a la Guinness. Very dark brown with a Guinness dark tan head expanding and shrinking. Aroma of sugar, dark malt, vanilla, coffee and lactose. Approaching full body. Flavor is lactose, brown sugar, coffee, dark malt, vanilla and possibly more. There's a light heat burn. Not a prob. Pretty good flavor!
