YaYa Brewing Company
Microbrewery in Spokane Valley, Washington, United States 🇺🇸
Lara was an avid proponent of helping people, kindness, academia, and most importantly, beer. So when Lara passed away in 2014, her brothers knew what had to be done.
Co-founder and Brewmaster, Chris, had been involved in the home-brewing scene since the early-2000s and knew it was time to take the step into the realm of professional brewing. The decision was made on a trip near Nashville, Tennessee. We are a family-owned brewery with a focus on community, team, education, and beer.
We strive to create beers that would make our sister proud; brewed with integrity, character, and pride. In true Lara form, we also intend to lend a hand to the community in which we live. As such, a percentage of all tasting room sales of our flagship beer, Angel IPA, will be donated to local charities.

16 oz van poured, picked up at Hop and Hound. Local pepper beer, no chance this doesn't find my fridge. Somewhat cloudy but bright golden appearance. Green pepper and straw aroma. Flavorful pepper quality with no heat. Maybe a touch of spice on the late palate. Crisp overall flavor. Above average blonde ale for sure. Tasty brew.

On tap at DownTime taps, pours a dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is full of spicy cinnamon upfront, followed by lactose and a touch of roast. Flavour is much the same, with lots of cinnamon and lactose. The malt base is very light, giving way mostly to the cinnamon on the do lay. A bit clumsy but decent enough.

Can from Tavour. Pours hazy gold with a large creamy white head that pillowed down. Aroma of citrus and melon. Med body. Flavor is citrus, melon and a hint of coconut. Maybe even some peach. Juicy, but not really sweet. Bitter with a bite - suggesting passionfruit. Sharp in the mouth, but very good flavor.

Can. Pours a clear golden hue with a medium white head. A soft perfume and citrus nose. Sweet, citrus, lots of oranges, malty bready base. Really is pretty malty. Reminds me a bit of SN Pale. Finish is a bit unpleasant. Overall, nice/
