Sweet flavour of roasted malt, milk chocolate, lactose, vanilla and coffee with a dry, bitter hop finish. Medium to full body with a creamy, smooth texture and average carbonation. On draught at Frontier Brewing, Casper.
Pours a dark, cola like colour, small off white head of foam, short lasting foam.
Smells of roasted malt, light spicing, perhaps rye, hints of seasonal spices, nutmeg? Kind of a weak nose and hard to pull out aromas distinctly.
Same with the taste. Mediocre degree of flavours strengths, some roasted malt, very light spicing, boring, plus the body is thin and watery in the finish. Not one of Vernal's better efforts.

Some orange and a little malt. Plenty of caramel like your mom overdid it on the pie. Bitter and tangy finish. Can.

From a 12 oz. can purchased at the brewpub. Pours black with a thick and frothy tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate and leather. Smooth roast flavor, with moderate sweetness and some roat bitterness. Very tasty stuff.
