Canned 9/28/22, drunk 1/15/23. Clear dark brown, light tan head slowly fades to cover/ring. Ashy, but also a bit cidery? Guess that's just the roast but it's a bit odd and seems sourish. In the mouth it's a bit cidery indeed with sourish, very bitter, seemingly old/spoiled roasted character. I dont know. Chris didnt seem to be bothered by it. Maybe I'm just thrown off by the lack of sugar, bourbon and adjunct. Texture is fine with an oily, medium, well-attenuated body. No alcohol. Getting a lot of soapy bitterness.

16 oz. can shared by ClarkVV. Aroma of vanilla, roasted barley, char. Flavor is a reflection of aroma. Mouthfeel and body are correct. A nice standard stout.

Can, from the brewery. Pours clear darkish yellow with a very small frothy whitish head that flops fast, faint bread aroma, high carbonation, mildly sweet malty taste, light hops bitterness, thin body, abrupt finish. Refreshing, nice brew.
