0.33 l bottle. Pours deep brown with beige head. Nose is sweet and slighlty tart fruits, quite artificial, they are. Same goes to the taste, with only slight beer-like notes. It reminds me of cherry coke actually. Eh.

0.33 l bottle @ home. Pours black with thick, beige head. Nose is cocoa, chocolate and an interesting and pleasant, sweet and fruity, but altogether hard-to-identify character that's gotta be the tea and/or orange (I guess). In taste the tea shows itself more prominently, giving a sweet, fruity layer to the chocolate/cocoa base. Unfortunately it's rather light on body and its finish is way too short, if it werent for these flaws, it could be much better and would fit the winter more. But still, a decent brew.

0.33 l bottle. An average amber ale, biscuity-malty enough with an interesting, cinnamon-like, spicy character.

0.33 l bottle. Szinte ugyanaz mint a tonkás változat, csak a bab fűszeressége nélkül. Nem kifejezetten jó amber ale, a fajta szinten minden meghatározó jellegét nélkülözi.

Nagy, tartós, bézs hab, sötétbarna szín. Kávés, fás, leheletnyit juharszirupos illat. Kávés, fás, picit füstös ízvilág, a háttérbren halvány ködként lebegő juharsziruppal. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas, erősen kesrű. Jó lett volna ha valamivel tompítani a chips és a pörkölés karcosságát, ráadásul száraz. Ez így most nem az igazi.

Bottle at home. Aroma of blueberry, blackcurrant, wine gum, sugar, strong liquorice, malt, candy. Flavour is sweet. Body is medium to heavy, sticky mouthfeel. Curious beer, way too sweet for me. But interesting.

330ml bottle. Quasi black colour with small, frothy to creamy, diminishing, minimally lacing, dark beige head. Roasty and slightly chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of dark caramel, toffee, some dark chocolate, a touch of liquorice, weak fruity overtones with a touch of sweet cherry and plum. Taste is roasty, dark malty and caramel malty with some residual sweetness, notes of dark caramel, a touch of burnt caramel, some toffee, a touch of treacle, some roasty and hoppy bitterness.
Watery texture, smooth, simultaneously rather dry, almost a bit repellent, metallic palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Some nice flavours, but a bit cautious and watery, somehow "narrow", restricted, light body gives you the feeling of licking up a puddle from a metallic surface rather than filling your cheek pouch - not really exciting.

0.5l bottle. Yellow body with a very thin white head that disappears immediately. Aroma and taste of grainy malts, hay and spicy hops. It's a bit less sweet and malty than it's German brothers. Nice take on the style.
