Amarillo wholly inappropriate for an English Ale. Bland, earthy, sloppy US brewpub Zwickel type creature. Garbage aroma. Sub par product at a premium price.

Can from my brother: pours copper with a whitish head. Aroma is caramel, molasses, toast. Taste is tasty, lightly bitter, kind of sweet.

Taster at brewery. Medium, clear amber, small creamy head. Aroma hints at some caramel malts. Taste delivers those malts in full, rich caramel flavors, leathery, tobacco notes. Mildly sweet, velvety smooth. Really, really nice.

Taster at brewery. Near black pour with silky beige head, solid lacing. Aroma is roast malts first, savory notes second. Taste perfectly matches the cookie flavors, while maintaining a nice roasty chocolate profile. Smooth, tasty, sublime.

Taster at brewery. Black body, collar of beige head. Smoky, ashy aroma. Taste is roast malts, and then the honey kicks in to bring a sweet edge to the roasty bitterness. Campfire notes throughout.

Taster flight at brewery. Pale yellow, skimpy head. Soft fruity aroma. Taste brings light juice, soft biscuit malts. Very subdued, but full of flavor.
