0,1l from tap at Craft Bier Fest Vienna shared shared by Saeglopur, big thanks. black color, small coffee colored head. smells licorice, earthy, light cardboard, spices, peppery, bit oxidized. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes a bit dusty, lightly oxized, earthy, light cocoa, licorice. finishes lightly roasty bitter with notes of earth, cocoa and licorice. nice one overall but has some oxidation notes. still quite drinkable though.

Dark brown to black body, with a medium, creamy, coffee colored head.
Aroma of coffee, toffee, toast, cocoa, dark chocolate, liquorice, some dark fruits.
Tastes quite similar, with more dark fruits.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes medium roasty, medium sweet, toasty, with cocoa, coffee, some fruits.
Nice one. A quite typical style example, robust, but good to drink. Maybe lacking a bit more depth or diversity. Solid, stronger Stout.

Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of Andrej. Shared with him and Max. Pours hazy orange, medium white head. Nice grapefruit hoppy aroma, malty caramel backbone, some pine, lasting bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Közepes, tartós, piszkosfehér hab, félbarna szín, szűretlen. Enyhe, de kellemesen citrusos, déligyümölcsös illat. Intenzív, déligyümölcsös, mandarinos ízvilág, enyhe gyantával, markáns, erős keserűvel. Testes, közepesen szénsavas, az alkohol jól el van rejtve. Kiváló arányokkal és egyensúllyal rendelkező, jól sikerült IPA.

On tap. Slightly murky orange body with a huge white head. Aroma of caramel, toast, honey, grapefruit, lime, pine and blackberry. Taste of caramel, toast, lemon zest, grapefruit, orange zest and pine. Hard to notice it’s above 8% ABV. Awesome DIPA.

Tap at Hopaholic, Budapest. Poured a slightly hazy dark amber with a frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is toffee malt, yeast, metallic citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a rich fruity woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Tap at Csak a Jó Sör, Budapest. Poured a hazy medium amber with a big frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a fresh sharp, crisp, citrus fruit, light pepper spice, hop bitter, light peppermint palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I’m no fan of the style but this was impressive. It was fresh and very nicely balanced. No super woody palate and no alcohol burn either.
