Bomber from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours very dark brown with red glints and a tan head. Aroma of chocolate and oats. Not oak. Oats. Passing confusing. Med + body. Flavor is mild whisky, could be bourbon, a slightest bit of alcohol, chocolate, smooth dark malt, and vanilla. Finally getting some mild oak/wood. Doesn’t quite tie to the description, but it’s not that far off. A "refreshing" BA compared to many. Nice drink.

Tap at West Coast Brew Fest 2013. Pours clear dark copper with a creamy beige head. Aroma hints at smoke. Med body. Flavor is sweet malt with a touch of smoke. Finishes malty, lightly smoky and it seems lightly bitter.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is mild citrus. Med body, almost. Flavor is wheaty citrus with a little mandarin peel. Finishes citric, wheaty and relatively dry.
