Dark brown, thin head, fruity and a bit harsh, boozy rendition. Hot going down. It’s fine except here.

Drfat at Lakeside Hideaway. Amber pour, ring of head. Aroma is malty, earthy, nutty. Taste brings notes of peat to the maltiness, not too bitter, not too sweet. Well balanced.

13 oz pour on nitro, enjoyed at Elliott Bay. Jet black dense pour. Dark tan cream foam. Big espresso nose here, amd some dark chocolate. Quite a festive brew for this time of year. Flavor is layered with coffee and cream, caramel, maple. Big bitter tones throughout, with cuts the strength well. Expected this to be more of a sipper, but the silk nitro body makes this really easy to drink. Flavorful and overall an excellent brew.
