500ml can from the Costco German Biergarten Collection, drank while preparing the evening meal at my daughters in Laguna Hills on 9th April 2025. Amber body with a red hue, bright and clean looking, off white head that stayed around for a while. It has a malty front to it's aroma and taste with a semi sweet caramel leaning. Nice body depth for an Irish Red (or what ever it's trying to be).

500ml can from the Costco German Biergarten Collection on 9th April 2025. Drank while preparing our evening meal of Spaghetti Bolognas at my daughters in Laguna Hills. Bright golden pour, clean and clear;on top a fast fading white crown. Initially very dry, it became more malty and softer as it warmed, very little aroma when cold or when warmed as I drank it.

500ml can from the Costco German Biergarten Collection. Drank on 5th April 2025, celebrating Grimsby Town's win against Morecambe while here in California. Clean, clear and bright golden body, short lived white crown. Grainy nose and initial taste, some balancing hop bitterness creeps in and it's alcohol level carries it all along nicely, easy drinking too.

From the Costco German Biergarten Box (24 different beers): 500ml can into an old Corsendonk stemmed tulip glass on 30th March 2025 at my daughters in Laguna Hills. Clean and clear golden body, fast fading white crown. Weak lager all round, no aroma or much taste, slightly more malty than hoppy, but nothing to get excited about.

500 ml can from the Costco German Biergarten Collection. Pours a cloudy root beer color with a small khaki head and very good retention. Good lacing. Dark malt aroma. The taste follows the nose: Dark malt flavor throughout. Tastes more like a Dunkel lager than a Vienna lager to me - and I'm okay with that. Not complex. A simple, tasty profile. Smooth and clean. Medium body. Low carbonation. Not bitter.

Red(dish) coloured, with minimal head and light body. Nothing extraordinary, expected a bit more characteristic flavour.

0.5 l can from a random Spar. Pours a black color with vanishing brown head. Malts, toffee and sweetness in aroma. Bitter coffee taste, but not rich enough for me.

Can at home. Pours deep brown with off-white head. Nose is banana, bubblegum, yeasty touch. Taste is classic hefeweizen at first, but in the finish there's a moderate malty, somewhat coffeeish touch, but this doesnt last long. Light body (perhaps too light), average carbo, easy to drink.

0.5 l can. Quickly disappearing beige head over the black liquid. Roasted malts and strong coffee hints in aroma and taste. As it gets warmer a strongish sweet/alcoholic scents appears, which is a bit unpleasant. Not bad for a commercial brew.
