RBSG 17 grand tasting. Light pink pour, small airy head. Honey first with some nice berry notes. Berries step forward in the taste, not huge, but up front, followed by a nice creamy honey base.

Bottle at RBSG. Pours a clear pink with a few bubbles. Aroma is sweet and distinctly honey wine with lots of huckleberries. Smooth flavors, all sweet. Mostly honey with a little bit more of the berries. It?s been a while since I?ve had one of these prairie wines, they all seem to be pretty similar, and the huckleberries add a nice touch.

750 ml bottle, thanks brenn79. Aroma is floral, honey, dirt, rotten feet. Pours as still and headless as a pinot grigio. Taste starts out sweet and finishes with a light dry bitterness; flavors of honey, cantaloupe, faint anise. Not bad, but would never seek again.

750 ml bottle bought at the liquor store in Rathdrum, ID. Pours a still rose pink. Aroma consists of honey and huckleberries, no surprise there. Taste is honey-sweet with a tart edge from the huckleberries; also a bit of tannic bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is syrupy. A tasty mead, tasting exactly how I thought it would with no surprises.
