Mahogany color; frothy head. Light caramel aroma, very light herbs. Soft mouthfeel, some malt, caramel, some chocolate, correct bitterness (long, getting stronger). When it’s warmer, it’s a pleasant and soft Winter Warmer.

Amber color; frothy head. Minty aroma, light mustard; very original. Soft mouthfeel, some malt, a bit herbal, medium caramel; good bitterness, with a lot of caramel as well in the end (quite drier mouthfeel than the Rustland Beast). Good Winter Warmer.

Amber color. Light malt aroma, with very light hop and fruits. Weak structure (it’s not a strong beer), but anyway with some malt, caramel and a very strong bitterness, also very long.

Cask @ Bishop’s Arms, Malmö. Dark brown colour. Small creamy head. Malty and hints of toffee and caramel in the aroma. Malty flavour with chocolate and caramel. Malty aftertaste, some hints of roasted malts in the aftertaste too. Very nice.

Cask handpull at Blakes, Dover. Copper colour with thin white head. Quite a nice hop nose with some strawberry fruit. Some acids in mouth, with drying hop end. Quite a nice bitter. In fact it must have been nice as I ended up doing a session on it and enjoyed each fresh pint. Not too heavy but enough taste it keep you interested 3.4/5 Re-rate cask handpull at County Hotel, Ashford, Good biscuit malt, Decent yeast, some fruit but as a biscuity light bitter, this was excellent.

Cask @ GBBF Dark ruby in colour, nutty mild with good malts and some fruit. Excellent mild actually and worthy of the winner of the mild category. Good coffee flavours and a long coffee/roasted malt finish

Cask at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford Golden colour with a nose of hay and dust. OK in mouth with some very mild citric/berry fruit. Finish is shortish. Fine to drink
