A gorgeous beer to look at! Deep creamy head and a brilliantly clear straw yellow beer. Aroma is almost nonexistant. Just very light balanced hop and malt aroma. The flavor is neither malty nor does it have any trace of a hop bitterness to it. No real flavors really, just non-water taste. No taste good or bad, so I guess it could be worse. Probably a real good light style beer, I prefer a little more presence in a Pilsner.

Deep gold color that comes with a thick, frothy head. Slightly off hop aroma, but not too bad overall. Flavor is slightly bitter but mostly lacking in all aspects giving a somewhat watery palate to this beer. Slightly bitter aftertaste.

This pours beautifully. Crystal clear golden beer with a merengue head. The hops aroma is sour and sharp, unpleasant. It has a somewhat sour taste, but not as bad as the aroma has prepared you for. Thin, somewhat chalky mouthfeel, but not a real lot of any maltiness. Maybe a slight grainyness, but that's it. Luckily no finish either.

Am I the only one who thinks this is OK??? Despite the cow manure nose, the body is well balanced and mildly sour. Not unexpectedly a dry corny finish. Better than the Imperial IMO.

Bottled in Monteverde. Pale yellow, coarse head. Aroma of an empty can with conserved peas. Sweetish, empty and metallic. Tastes like a used garbage can, and that is coincidencially also where I think this beer belongs.

Rather light, with a slight grainy note. It is probably one of the most well-made of the mainstream Central American lagers, and wouldn’t disappoint most beer drinkers. Though it is kind of flavourless for my money, you could do much worse.
