We brewed our beers for a long time in other breweries. That went well, but due to the ever-increasing demand for Wispe, we often had to move to other breweries. The desire to take matters into your own hands increased.
After ten years of brewing, in 2020 we opened our own brewery in the Sint-Laurentiuskerk, in the old center of the fortified city of Weesp. With a view of the copper brewing kettles you can now enjoy all our beautiful beers here.

Cloudy medium golden colour, mid-size frothy white head, dissipates slowly, light lacing. Aroma pale malts, yeast, light apricot, bit buttery. Smooth taste, medium sweet and light bitter, malty, fruity notes, light alcohol, yeast. Sweet aftertaste, even a bit sugary, alcoholic notes. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, (perhaps a bit too) clean tripel, alcohol well-hidden, all in all a good effort.

Etwas unappetitliche Farbe, erinnert mich an Apfelmus.

Courtesy of Craftmember, cheers! Loose, irregular, off-white bubbly head, leaving little lacing; cristal clear, brownish copper colour with amberish hue. Aroma of caramel, butterscotch, the cooked smell of pasteurization, autumn leaves, biscuit, honey, melting butter, dried flowers, fig, banana peel, candied orange, vague hint of diluted coffee. Restrained fruity, sweetish with a sourish hint, dried fig, banana accent, relatively low carbo, smooth and supple mouthfeel, caramelly, bit buttery, touch toasted and very lightly bittering, very mild herbal, almost tea-like hop touch, but malt sweet ending in general. Very stereotypical Dutch autumn Bock, no high ambitions here, but it serves its purpose.

Bierfestival Groningen, 9.04.2016. Pale golden, little bit unclear. Small head. Not a lot on the nose. Taste starts watery, some apple. Later little bit more grain and coriander. Little bit dry. Getting better to the end, Okay, it´s a wit ...

Bottle at home, from Hema. Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, little roasted caramel malts, some faint bubblegum/chemical sweetness, and a little dusty cardboard. Medium sweet and light bitter. Under medium body. Below average carbonation. Very one dimensional sweetened lager.

Small sample from tap @ PRZH Winterbiertickfest (2016). Pale golden color, cloudy. White head. Aroma’s: Wheat, fruit, coriander, like a decent witbier should. Retronasal it’s wheat, grainish. Flavor is light sweet, spices, witbier. Light bodied. Decent witbier.

Thank you for sharing people! Sampled draft @ “Gouda Winterbier Festival 2016”. Served by accident there :) Hazy citrus golden, little white head. Nose is sugary lactic wheat, coriander, sugar, wheat. Taste is sour rotting lemon, chemicals , sugar, mild sour wheat, excessive coriander, soap. Rotting wheat body. Taste is a lousy wheat that has started turning a bit wheat sour, excessive coriander doesn’t help. Not a fan. Didn’t get the elderflower which is a shame since I like elderflower.

Draft sampled at PINT Winterbier festival Gouda 2016. I guess that if you’re out of winter ale you’ll just pour a refreshing witbier instead! Pale golden with white head. Gumball galore, coriander, banana. Medium sweet. Body is on the light side of medium and carbonation is low.
