Cask at the St Albans beer festival 2023. A clear amber orange coloured pour with a a halo of white head. Aroma is nutty rough biscuit malts, grass, subdued, grass. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty, grape, woody raisin, bark, grass, rough round the edges. Woody grape, balsa. Not great.

27/9/2024. Cask at St. Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Pours clear bronze brown with minimal head. Good pour. Aroma is sweet, fruity, hoppy, pineapple, mango, candy sugar. Quite sweet with moderate bitterness and body. Oily, watery, drying finish. Quite okay.

Cask at the Woolpack, Hertford on 16th August 2024. Hazy copper with dense, yellowy white foam and full lacing. Pungent aroma with overripe orchard fruits. Almost disagreeably sour and heavily spiced apple and citrus in-mouth, and a lemon finish. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at the Woolpack, Hertford on 16th August 2024. Orangey copper with shallow yet dense off-white foam and scant lacing. Malty aroma. Leafy and thinly bitter hoppiness in-mouth. A finish of contrasting grassy bitterness and biscuit malts. Bitterness sharpens and dominates late. Light to medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Keg at Old Bank of England, Fleet Street. Pours clear gold with white foam. Aroma: citrus, hints, light hoppy. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, towards dry on the palate. Light to medium body with average carbonation.
