On tap at La Fine Mousse, Paris. Pours orange. Hoppy citrus aroma. Nice hoppy bitterness, fruity flavor. Good one.

Bottled, thanks fiulijn! Viscous, near black, no head. Aroma of calvados and licorice. Sweet and massive bodied with thick, oily mouthfeel. Molasses, licorice whiskey and white pepper. Really boozy finish.

Bottle. Black color with almost no head. Lots of hoppy notes, tropical, pine. Big coffee and strongly roasted notes. Taste is quite bitter with light sweetness, later light sourness. Medium body, light carbonation. Ok beer but a bit one dimensional.

Bottled. Black with with beige jead. Huge espresso aroma with an interesting twist of arctic raspberries. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Espresso, chocolate sauce and berries. Warming mid bitter finish.

Bouteille 33cl. Acajou, col crémeux moyen blanc cassé. Arôme est fruité noir-rouge, houblonné moyen sur qcq effluves citronnées le tout gardant un bouquet agréable de caramel fermenté-grains et malts. Palais offre de suite un bon taux d’alcool, ce dernier devient réchauffant au fil de la dégustation. Le tout garde un fruité persistant et pouvant rappeler un raisin blanc accompagné de qcq notes de fruits rouges. Effervescence est moyenne. En retrait, je note un beau profil fleuri des houblons avec qcq résidus de levure. Fini est sec, liquoreux avec un rappel malté oscillant sur du pils, caramel, pâle et toujours ce petit côté fruité-citronné. Bonne bière, mais au final je n’ai pas vraiment retrouvé l’idée d’un barley.
