Description
Our story originates from the dreams of a German immigrant and his passion for beer. Otto Bemberg, who arrived in our country in 1852, founded the Cervecería Argentina in the city of Quilmes in 1888. After two years, on October 31, 1890, the first chopp was served and from there the iconic beer began to be sold under the Quilmes brand, in honor of the old indigenous name of the town, where this dream materialized. These would be just the first steps of a project that, over time, would become one of the main companies in Argentina. During the years to come, the company grew exponentially, in 1910 it reached 100% beer production.
In 2002 we sealed the strategic association with AmBev and in 2006 we finalized the transfer of our majority shareholding package. We are currently part of AB-InBev, the world's leading brewing company, based in Leuven, Belgium, with a portfolio of more than 200 brands.

Bottled. Clear golden, airy head. Corn aroma. Sweet and mellow, fizzy and without substance. Watery with notes of sugar and a lightly salty finish. A very industrial brew.

Bottled. Clear golden, lemonady head. Raisiny wort aroma. Sweet and thin with hard mouthfeel. Bready with loads of saccharine and a metallic, sharp finish. Very bad, even for a N/A...

Bottled. Black with creamy beige head. Aroma of tar and milk chocolate. Swet and medium bodied with soft, if a bit mushy mouthfeel. There’s toffee, molasses as well as some winegums and soothing spun sugar. No bitterness. Despite being to sweet, and with a less firm maltiness than desired I find myself quite enjoying the vast array of flavours offered by this macro stout.

Not a bad lager beer. Sure, this is nothing special, but as far as national beers go, this is one of the better ones. I would rather have it to any of the big three pale lagers. Nothing great, but nothing bad in it. Beer is quite drinkable and if Argentenian people see you drinking it, they will think that you are totally awesome.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear, pilsener golden with a creamy, white head. Aroma of malt and brewing cereal. Medim body with malty notes and a dry, hoppy finish. A rather straight and decent Pale Lager. 011006

I love how random beers just come and go at local grocery stores in Japan. This is one of those random beers. Light golden color. Thin head. Smells like dishwashing detergent. Light mouth with corn and detergent, sour. Refreshing, but not very tastey. Like many. Another country tick.

Bottle. For what I expected before drinking it, it exceeded expectations, but this beer still isn’t *good*. Better than most South/Central American beers, but I wouldn’t probably go out of my way to buy this one.
