Bottle. A dark, dark brown colored beer with a nice light tan head. Some lacing. The aroma is quite British, char-ish, bonfire-ish and burnt, with roasted malts and a touch of dark dried fruits. A faint hint of chili green-ness too. It's rather thin on the palate, as expected, with a soft carbonation and a hint of chili warmth. The flavor too is quite burnt and bonfire-ish, with licorice hints, some chili and a touch of dark dried fruits. Lasting charred, burnt finish with a pleasant touch of chili. Quite nice, although it suffers from the ABV. 210809

13.07.2021, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Big bubbly-creamy longlasting head, cloudy. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish floral, herbs, leafs, sour grass, flowers, minerals, bark, dusty hops, pine needles, light malts, fruit stones, paper, moss. Taste is slightly dry and harsh mineraly, weeds, bark, harsh hops, flowers, minerals, paper, light malts, medicine, sour grass, fruit stones, old leafs, cardboard. Medium to longlasting bitterness, harsh sour-ish floral mouthfeel. Not my cup of coffee.

Bottle. Thx to Cunningham for arranging the logistics. It pours a dense, finger-thick light beige head over a more or less clear golden colored body. Some curtains. The aroma has some fruit-sugary, light toffee-ish maltyness, with a gentle hoppyness of pine cones, citrus hints, green grapes and peach candy. It's medium bodied and very smooth on the palate, softly carbonated, with a quite light bitterness. Pine cones, orange, some grapes and peach in the flavor, on a backdrop of fruity sweetness. Not really any malty flavors, but a close inspection reveals notes of light toffee and white bread. Mostly fruity finish. A clean and in my opinion a bit too gentle pale ale. Easy drinkable and sure repeatable. 210802

I think Mr Bugge have to break the hop code soon. As he has broken the pilsner code. Then it will bee good. Felt like a lager with some more hoppy notes. And they did not match the malt base to well either. Still quite drinkable in the summer sun [Bottle straight from The Farm]
