Bottle 330ml. [ As Freedom Pioneer ].Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, cereal, mesk - mash, pale malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, grain, cereal, mesk. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20140419]

Klare goldgelbe Farbe, geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht fruchtig, grasig, muffig. Geschmack wässrig fruchtig, hopfig, leicht grasig, trocken, naja!

Clear golden colour, big fluffy head, slightly off-white, recedes slowly, fair lacing. Aroma grain and cereal malts, hay, bit soapy. Fresh light to medium sweet and bitter taste, malty. Light to medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, finish medium dry bitter, bit herbal, all in all a nice lager.

Bottle at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a clear mahogany witn a thin broken white head. The aroma is roasty caramel malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light roast light smoke light liqourice bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle, 330ml from a new place in between the Market Porter and Wheatsheaf next to Borough Market on 11th Sep 2014, sat outside with a barrow for our table. Black colour, or very close to black, small tanned brown head. The aroma was semi-sweet malty, caramel, light toast and chocolate biscuit hints. Flavour is fruity with those same malt feel as the smell. I thought the body a little thin for a ’good Stout’ although every thing else seemed fine.

Keg @ Masons Arms, Todmorden. Yellow-blonde with a small bubbly head. Lots of carbonation and fizz on the palate but poor taste and texture with a light malt nose being its best characteristic.

Tap at the Birmingham Beer Bash 2014. Poured a clear light straw with a thin frothy white head. The aroma is oaky alcohol citrus fruit. The flavour is medium bitter with a zesty citrus mineral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. No overpowering flavours with the barrel ageing sitting nicely in the background.
