Handpull cask at the Earl of Beaconsfield, Cambridge. Light golden amber with a spotty white head. Light malts, tangerine, and a fair bit of cardboard on the nose. Taste is quite bitter but there’s no character to the bitterness. A touch of astringency in the dry finish. Metallic notes in the finish. Don’t like this very much at all.

cask at White Hart, Tongham. Vague malty aroma with citrus hints. Dark amber. Thin of-white head. Light bitter with a touch of citrus. A honey sweetness then comes through.. Malty base. Medium bodied. Slick, leaves a residue on the back of the teeth. Long finish. Definitely an Amber, but not sure where the IPA bit in the description comes from. No particular hop element to it. Still a pleasant summer beer.
