75cl caged bottle. Lots of pressure on the cork, no gusher. pours cloudy golden, thick white head. aroma, weird combo that I got, from vegetal, to herbal some medicinal plants, mint leaves and blossom, something in the nose I can’t remember as a spice. Touch of yeast, at times hinting at fermented tea leaves. flavors, light palate, yeasty, honey is subtle and I am not sure how ’gelée royale’ changes the palate, light sediments, touch of spices and a medium carbonation. Some grassy notes and honey blossom mouthfeel. Interesting, and I still can’t figure out which spice is used in this brew.

Bottle. Pale golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is apple, pear. Flavour is sweet, apple, malt, pear, sugar. Unbalanced strange beer.

Bottle, 75cl, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, pale golden beer with a small, off-white head. Pear-like sweet impression on the nose, with a good dash of fresh apples. Not as acetealdehyde, but fresh real apples. Sweet flavor with white sugar, and apples like in an industrial cider. Medium body, almost sticky. Sweet finish. Well, not my beer, even though it’s far from bad. 091024

Bottled. A deep red beer with a light pinkish head. The aroma has notes of almonds and cherries. The flavor is sweet with notes of almonds and cherries. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

The bottle looks simple, nothing special. Beer in the glass light red, huge head. Starts very, very sweet, like syrup. Tastes like lemonade. Very drinkable but not really with joy.

Bottle 750ml.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, moderate perfume - soap, apple, pear cider. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. 75 cL bottle, Kerstbier Festival 2009 as Super des Fagnes Noël. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, light spiced. Sweet, roasted and dark malty flavoured. Bitter and dry into a dry spiced finish. Smooth spiced finish.

Bit soapy-cramy yellowish head over foxy-copper beer. Appaling sweet-perfumed reek, as something made for the toilet of British female teenagers. Or a Cadbury filling. Scorched caramel with the worst artificial fruit flavours. Rather well-carbonated, very faint burning MF, backthroat syrupy slickness. Des Fagnes - there’s one thing I have to admit about them - they never let you down. Just as you thought it couldn’t get worse...
