Ultra light, ghostly straw coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall pure white microfoamed head on top that stays atop nicely above the 95 per cent opaque, very light body - almost white! Aroma of very strong citrus notes, grass, hay, light candy, but the fruity notes seem strongest, with some alpha acid bitterness noticeable and also a lot of sweetness in the nose, at least. Medium to Full-bodied; Very rich wheatie malt notes dominate with a big kick of oranges, grapefruits and some stone fruits, but the body seemingly of some extra papaya or mango and the extra sweetness of pineapple - this ends very rich, as well. Aftertaste shows the deep stone fruit dryness and some grassy and perfumey hop qualities with a light bitterness and some enjoyable sweetness here, but the rich malts are strongest here. Overall, a nice well-rounded IPA that shows Imperial Status from the rich malts with some New England aspects from the unfiltered nature and the citrus fruits, some brut notes from the perfumey dryness and some pure West Coast aspects from the piney and crisp bitterness from the hops. Great across the board - very nice to try, especially relatively fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from The Perfect Pour in Elkridge, Maryland on 25-October-2022 for US$5,25 sampled at my house here in Washington on 04-January-2023.
