Almost black colour and a frothy off white head. Aroma's of coffee, cocoa powder, light maple syrup, roast, just lightly sweet. Flavour too si just light sweet with roast and light bitterness. Medium bodied. Light moderate bitter finish.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 28 Aug 2022) Cloudy golden colour with creamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with mango, grapefruit, peaches and pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of mango, pineapple, passion-fruit, grapefruit, pine needles, peaches and a balanced citric/piney bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and juicy with a rich hop presence. Very nice.

(Keg at CoolHead Taproom, 20230112) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, ash and coffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, coffee, earth, dark chocolate, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, coffee and bitterness. A tasty blend of coffee and burnt malts.
