On tap at MBCC 2025, yellow session. Pours dark brown. Great roasted malts, cacao, bourbon barrels on the nose. Flavour has roasted malts, cacao, burnt toffee, bourbon barrels. Excellent.

On tap at MBCC 2025, yellow session. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Tons of pine, resin, and dank oils on the nose. Flavour has bright pine, some bitter resin, and a dank oily finish. Good malt base. Excellent.

On tap at Fermentoren, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma is primarily a function of the cocoa nibs, with the nuts and rum further back. Flavour is surprisingly cohesive, with lots of cocoa, rum barrels, and toasted nuts. Strange concept that they executed pretty well. Very good.

On tap at Fermentoren, pours a dark brown / black with a small beige head. Aroma has plenty of coconut, almonds and cocoa upfront, with a touch of vanilla. Flavour is sweet and pastry-dominated, with lots of sugars, coconut, and almonds, with not much malty body. Needs more dark and heavy malts to support the sweetness and adjuncts. Decent.

On tap at Fermentoren, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma has some tangy melon, citrus hops, light chalk, and a touch of dankness. Flavour is fruity, with lots of hopburn, gentle dankness, and some fruitiness. A bit murky and hopburny but not too egregious. It’s alright.

On tap at Fermentoren, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of piney hops, some resinous hop oils, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is vibrant, with huge resinous hop oils, bitter pine, some melon, and just enough sweet malt to back. Really great hop expression and balance. Wonderful.

On tap at Fermentoren, pours an opaque golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is pure hopburn, some pith, ugh. Flavour is much better, with juicy stone fruits, moderate hopburn, and chalkiness. There’s some nice elements underneath but there’s too much sludgy hopburn. Not good.
