440ml can. Hazed golden orange appearance, small white head. Quite a malty first impression, citrussy tropical nose with gentle passion fruit shades to taste. Decent.

440ml can, shared with haddock. Hazed dark appearance, overly large beige foam. Aroma suggests cocoa and mild lactose. Taste brings a medium bodied stout, gentle nudges towards cocoa and vanilla, soft lactose touch. I suppose cookies and cream could be procured from such a combination. Decent chocolatey milk stout in any case.

Sunday 26th September 2021. The quest goes on tasting with Mat in Chez Sophie. Last beer of the session; 440ml can between us. Black bodied, large tanned head. Someone forgot to put in the Cookies and Cream in this can (as advertised in the blurb), but it was still a pleasant Milk Stout.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - murky yellow to orange. White lacing. Nose - dank dishcloth, orange, grapefruit and passion fruit. Citrus zest at the back. Taste - more obvious passion fruit this time, with orange fruit and zest. Palate - light bodied, zesty middle with a dry lightly bitter finish. Overall - quite nice. Not sure about all the fluffy nonsense on the back of the can, mind.
