Description
Began life as a contract brewer of low-alcohol beers whose beers were understood to be brewed by Hambleton.
The multi award winning brewer, Drop Bear Beer Co. exploded onto the UK beer scene in 2019 with the mission of bringing true craft to the alcohol free beer market. Seven awards, four craft beers, and quadruple percentage growth later Drop Bear is the UK’s top rated alcohol free brewer and has expanded into Canada, Spain, and Germany.
Traditionally brewed with only the highest quality ingredients, Drop Bear believes in great AF beer for all. That’s why the entire range is gluten free, vegan, and low calorie.
With a loyal and ever increasing fan base, Drop Bear is the craft beer that the alcohol free market long desired.
In August 2023 Drop Bear purchased the Tomos Watkin brewery and began brewing their beers on site, in addition to the Tomos Watkin beers. This move meant that, at the time, Drop Bear were the UK's largest non-alcoholic beer brewery.

Pale yellow colour, small white head. Sweet bubblegummy peach in the nose. Light-bodied. Some peach and even hops in the flavour. Very watery but doesn't have any nasty NA off flavours. Just peachyness.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 16/01/25.
Famous last words after the gushing AF lager a few nights ago ... hoping I had nothing else in stock from these clowns! Well at least I knew what to expect this time and the stout gushed into my sink and was generally a Dave pour throughout with the badly pitched carbonation showing no mercy!
Light black with a fuck off khaki head, despite a careful pour, allowing me to tip some more in after about 5 minutes. Wankers!
Nose is dark malts, hint of toffee, soy sauce, umami.
Taste comprises light roast, dark malts, cocoa powder, toffee, charr, light ashen nip.
Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, semi drying close.
This actually tasted decent for an AF stout but these muppets clearly don't understand carbonation levels.

Gusher FFS ... not what you expect from an AF lager ... lost 20% of this garbage ... marks docked for this!
Golden pour with an off white cap that thins to a swirl and retains in this form.
Nose is corn husk, grains, cereals, earthy.
Taste comprises pale malts, aspartamic bite, papery (not in the Catholic sense - might have been better tbh), grains, herb.
Light bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Average AF ... lots better out there and it gushed!
Won't bother with these again ... just hoping there's not another in the stash of AF I picked up 3 or 4 months back!

Can from EeBria. I've not had many LA beers but this is one of the best ones I've tried. Nice malt hop balance although not picking up yuzu to be honest. Look: light cloudy gold, unusual fizzy and foamy head combination but does settle. Aroma: a touch IPL with lagery malt character combined with floral and subtle fruity hops Taste: Malt character comes through nicely with an light caramel touch, floral and citrus peel. Palate: good body for the strength, light stickiness,
