Hazy, on the murky side. On the palate the hops have moderate bitterness, limited grapfruit aromatics. It’s okay, could use brighter hop and none of the hazies here have a memorable malt or yeast profile.

Pint at the Fish Market. Pours an unclear, orange color, with a medium, frothy, white head. The aroma is orange juice, mango, caramel, and thyme. Sweet and malty, with a mild bitterness. Simple, citrus-forward, and quality.

6th Jan 2020. On-tap in the Fish Market Restaurant, San Diego (as Bay City Pale Ale). Golden body, hint of a haze, white head. Malty front to the nose and taste with a hoppy IPA follow up. Citrusy notes from the hops as the beer warmed a little.
