Cloudy. Very pale yellow. Light coriander aromatics. Palate is full-bodied for the style. Sweet, with tasty lime and coriander. Nicely balanced.

Near total blackness, with a thin head. Rich chocolate aroma shows sweetness and a hint of dark sugar complexity with lots of nuts and whole grain bread. Soft body, actually lighter than expected. Lots of chocolate and some bread. Cocoa. The palate is perhaps not as developed as the aroma but a good porter.

Orangey golden-amber. Woody cascadey aroma with slightly sticky crystal malts. Smells a lot like SNPA. Caramelly body with woody cascadey notes. Any floral element drops out late, leaving more caramel malt complexity. Good balanced beer.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours an opaque golden yellow. Light aroma of wheat and citrus. Flavour is wheat and citrus, with quite a dry feel and a coriander finish.

Bottle. Nice hazy golden, lacing creamy head. Light fruity aroma. Almond, light fruity ale, low on hops, not offending in any way. Nut flour aftertaste.

Bottle. Fruity malt aroma. Dark cloudy amber, lacing head. Light dry roast, fruity base, a hint citric hops. Medium to light body, mellow mouthfeel Lacks a little bit oomph to be a alt, most German ones I had had a herbal or heatherlike quality to them and a bit more body. but not bad at all.

Pours black with a white head. Aroma of espresso and light chocolate. Flavour is very bitter chocolate, with a distastefully sour/acidic aftertaste. Wasn't a fan of this one.
