On tap at Taphouse Frankfurt, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma has robust resinous hops, light pine, and bready malt. Flavour is bitter enough, with resinous hops, bitter pine, and bready malt. Finishes quite robustly bitte—drinks more like a red IPA than simply a red ale. Good.
