Cloudy dark amber, tiny light beige head. Aroma has caramel, dried fruit, raspberry! Definately some berries but non added. Caramely flavour, boozy dried fruit, sherry-like notes. Don't really get any barrel. Solid warmth in the finish. Nice.

Cloudy amber, lasting offwhite froth. Aroma has caramel, toffee, wood, vanilla. Caramely flavour, bittersweet with more vanilla and wood and a light, rather elegant boozy note. Whisky? Lovely.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours a cloudy, orangey brown with a small, off-white head. Toffee and dried fruits in the nose with a somewhat indistinct barrel character - and a sharp booziness. Body is rich, sweet and malty with a very low carbonation. Oxidized like an old English Barley Wine. Plenty of caramel and crystal malts, again with a somewhat muddled barrel imprint, but it's there and it's enjoyable. Very boozy finish. 250620

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours a hazy, dark amber with a small, off-white head. Lovely, sophisticated sweet barrel imprint. Rich, malty body, subtle caramel and dried fruit in the base beer but the delicious and really well done barrel aging is really the main thing here adding delicious oak, vanilla and subtle tannins. Some warming alcohol in the finish. Delicious. An extremely surprising and welcome addition to the Danish brew scene. 250620

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours a clear, dark reddish amber with a small beige head - a nice looking beer indeed. Very distincy oak in the nose, but smooth - no rough tannins here. Rather rich, malty and smooth body, subtle roast playing nicely up against the oak with distinct and pleasant underlying notes of the whisky. Oaky tannins growing a little stronger through the beer, but it remains a very delicious and pleasant experience. A good example of barrel aging a small beer can can come out really well. 250620
