Description
2020 – the year of all years. Affecting the whole of the UK, I too was hit by the virus. Luckily I wasn’t sick, but eventually was made redundant.
Not great timing as our little boy was about to arrive, but we were so excited to meet him.

Natalie just about to go onto Mat Leave, still working away at our dining room table eventually got sick of me hanging around the house. So I kept busy, and what better way to do that than make a dream a reality.

Out came the tools, some sawing and banging (and a trip to the hospital) – 2 great things were born that month.

Gravicask, half-pint, shared with Finn at the International Brewing & Cider Festival, Manchester. Misty golden body, covering white head leaving clingy lacing on the glass. Inviting citrus aromas, scent of oily hops. Ripe fruity hops to the taste profile, hints of grapefruit, added by a grainy touch. Fair fruity bitterness to the finish. Medium bodied. Like it. (Manchester, 22.03.2024).
