Pours black with a large tan sudsy head.
Nose shows caramel fudge, toffee and faint roast.
Flavours include more toffee, honeycomb and caramel fudge. Little else. A bit of a metallic finish.

(Can) Pours black with big fluffy brown head. Aroma of very prominent caramel with hints of chocolate. Medium bodied and smooth with plenty of very fine carbonation. Taste has an interesting balance of sweet, sour and bitter. At the start there is sweet, creamy caramel. This is fairly quickly joined by some citric tartness also followed quickly by a growing bitterness. This becomes quite harsh in burnt sugar way. Unusual, interesting, enjoyable but a bit off balance for me.

Can. Pretty much black with an inch of tan head. Aroma is mainly dark caramel, some roast and mocha. Only moderately sweet with roasted and hop bitterness reining things in nicely. Some spiced/ vanilla-tinged chocolate too.

Loads of caramel in thr aroma, together with burnt toast, salt and pine needles. The burnt element is just a bit too full on, but otherwise a great beer.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some herbal, grassy and mild bready tones. Flavour is bready, floral, some herbal and mild grassy tones with a wee bit of yeast too. Almost a lagery edge to it...

Can, huge thanks Per! Hazy paaaale yellow body, white head. Off yeasty notes, phenols and a soft fruity hoppy presence. Brett? Definitely some wild bug in the taste, brett perhaps, toothrot, medicinal. Sadly, not what it's supposed to be.
