Appearance: Dark chestnut red. Very fizzy start, calms down later with nice off-white head. Aroma: Fruit, earthy. Slight sourness. Taste: Lots of fruit and berries. Wood? Sourness, but not too bad, actually. Pleasant surprise to me. Info: 750ml bottle, 29/3-2014, 56/100, BB: 30/4-2014

Bottle at home, thanks to Luca (Mortlach), 14/02/14. Slow gusher. Pours a murky orange amber with a moderate off white covering that stays for the party. Nose is funky, tarte grapes, germaline tinge, dank wood, citric tinged straw, light spice. Taste comprises lemon rind, tarte green berry fruits, dank, light must, appel core on the wain, white wine oaky effect. Medium bodied, fine carbonation with a gentle prickle, semi drying close laced with tarte fructis. Nice stuff.

Batch 16 2012. Pours a dark amber with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is oak and dark fruits. Medium mouthfeel with plum, figs, oak, and light tart finish. Good.

Bottle shared by Dan last night. Huge funky earthy aroma and flavor. Not a huge fan of this one honestly.

Quite the beer. Pours cloudy, dirty brown-orange with decent head and lace. Aroma has some florals, light bretta and some apricot and citrus. A good interpretation by panil. Soft carbonation. Finishes a little sweet with some tangy sourness. Good all around. Bottle from LCBO.

750mL bottle, pours an opaque, cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out moderate barnyard funk, slight acidity, and dough. Flavour is very close to an authentic unblended lambic, with barnyard funk, leather, citrus peel, and vegetal notes. Really awesome unblended lambic, but with carbonation - unlike more traditional versions of the style. Wonderful stuff.

Batch 1; 2013; Bottle 246. Capped 750 from the Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours translucent gold with a transient fizzy white head. Aroma suggests the old fashioned cap pistol caps after explosion. Near med body. Flavor is very oaky with some sour apple, and still has that "cap" aspect . Finishes dry, sour and weirdly bitter.
