Aroma of light fruits, citrus, some yeast, a little hoppiness. Flavour is fruity, light sweetness, with some bitterness in the finish. Decent, but rather ordinary.

Tap at 3th Flevo Bierfestival, Almere: Very yeastie hazy brew with an very annoying watery taste, lacks the sweetness of an Tripel. Luckily there is brewery Bolschout in Almere with better beers.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Braumarkt, Almere. Dark brown to black with a beige head. Strong malty dark caramel aroma with some spices (cinnamon, star anice). Taste is sweet with some alcohol warmth. Finish is close to being too boozy but stays just at the safe side. Nice winter warmer.

Grapefruit aroma. Orange color, cloudy. Apple and grapefruit sourness in the flavor. Thin, but refreshing beer. Citrus all around. Not a bad beer, but could be much improved.

Bottle, sold as Kemphaan Herfstbock. The ABV fits so this must me the right beer. Dark brown color, cloudy with a big frothy head. Only slight malty and roasty aroma. Thin. Flavor has roasted malt, some coffee and licorice. Dry mouthfeel, hoppy licorice aftertaste. Full of nice flavors but lacks balance.

Dark brown color, cloudy, chunks of yeast floating. Big creamy head, only fading away slowly. Only slight chocolate and yeastaroma. Also chocolate and yeast in the slightly roasted flavor. OK but unconvincing.

Herbal aroma and flavor. Coreander and yeast, some caramel. Thin to medium bodied. Somewhat alcoholic. Laurel and licorice. Unbalanced.
