Cask at the Aleway, Axminster, 15/04/22. Very lightly hazed golden yellow with a good sized lasting off white head. Nose is tangerine, melon, grass, earthy, breads. Taste comprises grass, melon, light breads, orange peel, soft malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow hop bitterness. Decent enough cask hopppy number.

Tap at the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a clear, almost black colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasted malt and molasses. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a dry, rich, roasty, earthy, light red berry fruit, liqourice hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear copper colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is malt, woody hops. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a smooth, malt, light citrus, light metallic, light floral, woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at Crossways Inn, West Huntspill, Somerset. Pours clear red amber with a cream coloured head. Aroma & taste: malts, caramel, red berries, dark fruits, hedgerow hops, light sweet & light to moderate bitter. Medium body, soft carb, semi dry finish.

9/2/2020. Cask at the Bull Baiters, Worcester. Pours black with a small short lasting bubbly beige head. Aroma of Sheridan’s cream, milky coffee, chocolate, vanilla and light roasted notes. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, slight sticky texture, soft to flat carbonation. Quite enjoyed it.

Cask at pigs ear 2019. A clear orange amber coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is semi sweet, jammy fruits, orange rind, toast. Flavour is composed of toasted malts, marmelade on toast, woody pine, decent rustic malts. Palate is semi sweet. Grainy, drying, ok decent condition.. Fine.
