Description
In 2015, sitting in the snug of his local, a Galway City native came up with the dream of having Connachts first cider company. A voyage that would lead him to launch ‘The Galway Cider Company’.

Roll onto early April 2019, on an early foggy morning in Enniscorty, 15,238 bottles of Galway Cider rolled off the bottling line and the dream the man once had become reality. Galway Cider is now available in all good pubs in Galway City for you to enjoy.

10/12/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of SHIG. Ireland rating #100. Pours clear very pale gold with minimal head. Aroma is fruity, apply, funky, slightly mucky. Medium sweetness, moderate tartness. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 21/12/21. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate white crown. Nose is tarte apple, straw, grains, light funky pangs. Taste comprises crisp apple, light orchard wood, apple core, hint of icing sugar. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent bitter sweet affair.

Sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers Shawn! Golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of apple fruity, some core & funk. Taste is sweetish, apple, skin and core, fleshy with some light tartness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium-dry finish. Quite drinkable.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to SHIG. A mostly clear golden coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is tangy funk apple, wood, grass, woody mould, funk. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, fine carbonation. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, toffee, fine carbonation. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, chewy apple, toffee, spritzy, toffee, Pretty clean tasty cider.

Bottle thanks to MrsSHIG: Poured a unclear yellow with a white frothy head. Aroma is nice crisp apples, semi-sweet. Taste is nice crisp apples, semi-sweet, carbonated, fruity, light tannins, very lively finish.
