15/3/2022. Bottle from Mexgrocer. Pours clear pale golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, grain, malt, hops, cardboard and candle wax. Quite heavy sugary sweetness, light bitterness and body, Oily and watery, with average carbonation. Increasingly sweet finish. Okay.

330ml bottle. Clear, brass colour with small, frothy fading, white head (and of course a serrano pepper). Extremely spicy aroma, pepper in the nose causes almost a sneezing fit. Taste is initially surprisingly neutral malty, later peppery spicy with accumulating spiciness, a veggie, green pepper touch as well, subtle sweetness. Oily-watery texture, smooth and soft (beer) as well as pungent, burning (chili) palate, fine, soft carbonation. Spiciness is too intense and concentrated to be really enjoyable, but leaves space for some accompanying flavours - not that bad...

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber colour with average, thick, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Caramel malty and slightly earthy, leafy, minimally citrusy, hoppy aroma, hints of lemon tea, instant lemon tea, a touch of sweat and almond. Taste is slightly dry and tart-ish, grassy, waxy, slightly leafy, minimally citrusy, hoppy, caramel malty background, hints of lemon tea, flax, cardboard, minimally sugary aspects. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, soft to flat carbonation. Slightly sugary, flavourless IPA rip-off - bad.

330ml bottle. Clear, dark brown colour with ruby shimmer and small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, dark beige head. Roasty, dark malty and minimally fruity aroma, hints of dark chocolate, a minimally ashy, smoky touch, some dark fruit. Taste is sweet-ish, roasty dark malty, slightly caramel malty, minimally fruity, metallic overtones, hints of dark chocolate, dark caramel, a touch of plum, plum wine; minimally metallic finish. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth, minimally dry, minimally repellent, metallic palate, fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Well balanced, passably multifarious - OK.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, dark yellow-ish to orange, golden colour with small, frothy, fading, white head. Weak, piney hoppy and pale malty aroma, a touch of peanut. Taste is bitter, slightly piney and citrusy hoppy, pale malty basis with little residual sweetness, hints of lemon, a touch of grapefruit, a weak mineral touch; lingering, bitter, piney hoppy finish. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously dry palate, fine and soft carbonation. Simple, monotonous, good bitterness - Okay-ish.
