Gold with a creamy, white head. Aroma a mix of citrus, caramel and straw. Taste is mildly bitter the whole way through. Crisp finish with some astringency. Faint caramel lingering on the tongue. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Not refreshing. Straightforward. Not bad.

Bottle from Biersalon Kaufbeuren (D). Color: Clear amber, white head. Aroma: Malty, caramel. Taste: Very smooth, caramel, malty, light hints of citrus fruit and light hopbitternsss. Moderate sweet. Medium body, below average carbonation. Long lasting finish with some more dry-ish bitterness. Ok Amber Ale.

9/8/2022. Bottle courtesy of Idiosynkrasie, cheers Boris. Pours clear very dark maroon brown with a small bubbly/frothy beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, dark fruits, caramel, molasses, milky chocolate, light charcoal and ash. Quite heavy sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Moderate body, watery, average carbonation. Sweet clammy sticky finish. Best of the four I had from this series, though far from perfect.

Aroma of light hop, malt, orange, citrus, grass, caramel, biscuit, touch of pine. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily, soft carbonation. Bittersweet bready finish. Okay.
