Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Clear bright gold with thin off-white foam. Decent fruity hop and malt aroma for the style. Flavour has notes of apricot, strawberry, bitter citrus, some caramel with spice and grass hints. Semi-dry, slightly chewy. Good.

Can from Vine & Bine, near Solihull. Pours a light misted pale orange-red colour with an off white thin covering. Aroma is herbal and floral with a fruity current undertone and drying malt. Taste is somewhat tart and bitter with herbs and a moderate sweet floral resin. There is a slight fruity redcurrant but not enough to balance the flavour. A nice growing bitterness in the finish and the abv helps to give it an oomph. Overall though its a bit average for the style.

Tap at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Hazy orange gold with small white smooth top. Tropical pineapple, mango and mid funk aroma. Taste has a light green tropical fruit, quite bitter with just about enough sweetness. Semi dry chalky mid body with a late fruity hop splash with hint of toasted pine. Nice. Best of the six beers I've tried from this brewery, a clear step up.

Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Clear gold thin white head, minor retention. Lemon and stone fruit yeasty chewit thing going on but at the point it could become too much it mellows to a gentle fruitiness with mineral and toasted grains with a modest bitter note. Not bad, certinally interesting.

440ml can from Hop Vault, Stourbridge, online. This one is called 'Event Horizon 2.0' but as the ABV is only slightly different in 6.0%, ingredients show its still an oatmeal stout and as no one has reviewed yet, I will just post here. Pours jet black with very brief fizzy tanned head, no retention. Mixed. Aroma is roasty, coffee, blackcurrant jam with hints of sweetness. Solid. Taste is coffee, chocolate, light roast, oats, blackcurrant. Tasty. Medium bodied, fairly smooth, moderate carbonation. Nice stout.
