What's Your Name Mean?
"Want to play a game?" Used to be our response, but because of our growth and your support we're adding this link to ease your curiosity. No, it's not an acronym. Yes, it is a name! But it's not a combination of ours. In fact, Andrew and Kai are brother-in-laws. Each married to 2 of 3 sisters. Richard's brother is married to the third. And Voila! There it is! We are all family by marriage and bond. Oh, and the name.... is the girl's maiden name! Brownie points

Form a crowler at the DC tasting July 10, 2016. Pours a cloudy gold with an off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of pine, citrus and caramel. Bitter finish. Update: from a fresh can purchased at the brewery Nov. 2, 2017. Seems far better than the crowler a year ago.

Poured into a snifter showing lightly if not completely unfiltered dark yellow and half a finger of white foam. The nose is dank with hints of lemon and papaya . The palate is light bodied and lightly carbonated. Flavors of dark cannabis with a harmonious bitterness on the finish.

5 oz draft pour at Aslin. Poured a hazy ruby red color with a small off-white head. Totally different look than the base beer - lots of blueberry coloring. Aroma is more subtle than the base beer. Lots of blueberry. Vanilla character is mild vanilla.

5 oz draft pour at Aslin. Poured a light yellow color with a small fizzy white head. Aroma had a strong herbal character immediately. Flavor is spicy guava, herbs. Light dank character, but some heavy starchy water notes. Strange but drinkable.

5 oz draft pour at Aslin. Poured a pitch black color with a small tan head. Vanilla and raspberry is on the nose, but it’s really subtle, at least when first poured. Aroma strengthens as it warms. Flavor is similar, raspberries with some burnt dark chocolate and malts. Not quite as good as the base beer, but still really good.

8 ounce draft pour at Aslin. Poured a slightly dark orange color with a small white head. Not as juicy as a lot of their offerings. Bitterness is more pronounced. Citrus, light grapefruits. Decent.
