About
Macks Ølbryggeri is the northernmost brewery in the world. The brewery was founded in 1877 by Ludwig Markus Mack. Mack is the fourth largest brewery in Norway, and is probably one of the strongest brands from Northern Norway. Our main production is located in Nordkjosbotn, approximately 70 km from Tromsø. Mack's historical sites in Tromsø houses our administration, the beer shop Kjeller 5, our legendary pub Ølhallen and Mack Microbrewery.

330 ml can, from Coop Extra Judaberg. ABV is 4.3%. Clear pale golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of pilsener malts, newmown grass, flowers and honey. Light bodied as expected. The flavour is not too sweet, and has some noticeable bittering hops. Could have been worse.

330ml can, shared with Pål. A white tophead over a clear late straw coloured body, dotted spots on the glass. Very modest smell of pale malts, mid-dry. Rather tasteless, a note pale malts. Drying close, thin and rather diluted. About drinkable (Tromsø, 13.07.2026).
