About
Macks Ølbryggeri is the northernmost brewery in the world. The brewery was founded in 1877 by Ludwig Markus Mack. Mack is the fourth largest brewery in Norway, and is probably one of the strongest brands from Northern Norway. Our main production is located in Nordkjosbotn, approximately 70 km from Tromsø. Mack's historical sites in Tromsø houses our administration, the beer shop Kjeller 5, our legendary pub Ølhallen and Mack Microbrewery.

500 ml can, probably from Coop Extra, Tau. ABV is 4.7%. Nearly clear pale golden colour, large white head. Distinct aroma of citrus / orange peel and wheat, a hint of coriander seeds. Thin body. Moderate wheaty flavour with citrus and coriander, very moderate hops.

Can. A clear golden colored beer with a dense white head. Fruity, lightly malty aroma, pine cones and grass. A touch of citrus too. It's medium bodied and dry on the palate, softly carbonated, with a very gentle bitterness. Pale malts, pine cones, grass and some citrus in the flavor. Rather weak. Short finish. A dull one, but quenching. 230714

6-4-6-3-12 Can. Pours slightly hazy pale yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is pilsner malts with cereals, hay and honey, as well as sweet, fruity yeasty notes and zesty hops with some floral notes. Medium to full body, with average carbonation. Flavour is sweet malty notes of white bread crust, hay and honey, as well as zesty hops with grass, citrus and yeasty minerals. Fairly short finish.
