Bottle # 39/75. @ 40th Birthday Bash / 20K Event. Pours amber with a white head. Dusty and oxidized nose and flavor. Quite poor.

33 cl bottle poured into a Snifter. Dark amber colour with a thin lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, cherries, sherry barrel, vanilla, booze, overripe fruits and blue cheese. Taste is sweet. Full bodied, cap went off on the way home but didn't effect the carbonation. Lasting sweet finish with cherries and caramel malts. Really something for the sweet tooth. Brewery seems defunct.

Botte 33 cl. Pours black with an orange hue and a beige head. Nose has a little coffee and roast. Medium body, sweet roast, a little vanilla and now more subdued coffee. But also in this beer there's a distinct fusty/moldy note that clearly disturbs making the been seem unfresh and inappropriate to drink. Again no Belgian yeastiness. Hardly any bitterness. 311019

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with an off-white head. Caramel and toffee in the nose - but subtle. Rich, malty body again with plenty of caramel and biscuit, but also a distinct fusty, unclean note. Quite fatty actually, but nothing distinctly Belgian about it. Very subdued bitterness. 311019
