Tap at Pivstro. Very dark brown-black murky aroma, thick off-white head. Nutty, caramelly, coffee-like soft aroma. Peachy taste, mild coffee coloring malt touch, then some mango, vague caramel, vague bitterness. I mean, pretty okay black IPA.

Tap at Pivstro. Slightly hazy full golden body, off-white head. Creamy aroma, gummi bears, peach, bit spicy. Lean, dry taste, herbal and white grape notes, smooth, light touch of bitterness. Tasty stuff, almost sessionable, though have to throw a sharp glance at Chris for a session at 5.7%. 😁

On tap pours out amber topped with a sand head. Nose is sweet caramel toffee malts and some grass. Taste is more of the nice sweet caramel toffee malts and a pithy grapefruit bitterness on the end.

On tap at Pivstro, Pilzen, Czechia in the company of Nick and Anna, Sunday 21st January 2024. Pours mid gold with a tiny bit of haze. Soft in the mouth, nice mouth feel, soft and creamy. A pleasant and steady bitterness, a little streaky lemon, a little thin but on the flip side very drinkable. This is a very good beer.

Pre-release PET-ka, courtesy of Fil & Ryan. Murky, full yellow body. Pine and citric notes in the pleasant aroma, lightly fruity. Smooooooooth, beautifully smooth taste, with loads of citrus fruits, lighter pine, but also a lightly odd sickly yeasty touch that kveik might account for. To be rerated by all means on tap if possible, but this was already a very promising beer with a very nice Columbus presence.

Tap at the Kulový blesk, for the Zhůřák event. Hazy red-amber body, beige head. Caramelly, peachy, lightly tropical aroma. Surprisingly enough, the taste is a bit on the rough side. Nicely caramelly, lightly tropical, but ending in a strong herbal finish, that seemed to be way above 57 IBUs, and borderline not all from hops in a way. I like when Chris goes old school, but this one just isn't one of my favs.
