Tap at Dočesná. Hazy golden body, off-white head. Coconut and light citric hoppy notes in the aroma. Dry taste, coconut and lemon with a solid bitterness. Good one!

Tap at Dočesná. Hazy golden-orange body, off-white head. Herbal hoppy aroma, some citric notes, very light grainy malty touches. Lovely taste, citrus and stone fruit, ending with a dry herbal bitter finish. The wild NZ aspects of Nectaron didn't come through and I could appreciate it! And glad to see Chroust improving again!

Can from Pivni Rozmanitost @ Home. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of light malt, grass, fruit, citrus. Flavor is light bitter, little malt, grass, fruity hops, citrus, peel. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 100924

Can at Galerie piva. Slightly hazy paaale golden body, thick off-white head. Creamy aroma, big herbal notes, grainy. Medium body, bit grainy, yeasty, yolky, herbal, ending with medium bitterness, well integrated. Kinda not a wow, bit restrained, but maybe my fav Chroust beer I'd had in a long while!

Can Solid desítka Malty, rather high bitterness. Hoppy feel. Fair enough I would say

500ml Can (Basecamp, Prague) - Golden with a slight haze and a white head. Grass, citrus and a whiff of pine in the aroma. Moderately bitter taste with notes of grapefruit, grass, hay and lemon.

500ml Can - Clear golden with a foamy white head. Citrus, bubblegum, herbs, pine and some hints of berries in the aroma. Blueberries, grapefruit and some herbal and floral notes all combine in the flavourful taste. A good combo of European and American hops.

500ml Can - Golden with a foamy white head. Grass, aniseed and some herbal and floral notes in the aroma. Herbal taste with grass, basil, thyme and some hints of citrus and chamomile detected with some grainy tones in the background.

Can 0.5l, one year aged. Cloudy, deep gold colored. AROMA- strongly grapefruit resins, white grapefruit and orange. FLAVOR- neutral, moderately sour, salty, grapefruit concentrate. Medium syrupy body. Not very good. Not much beer, just oversalted grapefruit concentrate.

I asked the fellow working at the bottle shop in Prague near the hotel to pick out a number of Czech beers for me. They’ve all been Double NEIPAs. That can be all right and it can be overkill. This evening I have a chilled 500 ml can of Anezka Ch. to sample, 9.5% ABV and a best by date of 10.01.25 it says on the label. The pour into my tulip glass is yellow-orange with a here-and-gone arctic white skim of foam. I determine a scent of citrus, tropical and a hint of hops. The drink is better than I hoped. Orange zest, a touch of grapefruit and accompanying bitterness, caramel, kiwi and white bread. Fairly dry, I think that works well. Pleasant beer on an extremely warm Texas evening.
