When a beer enthusiast and a brewer come together it one household it can only end up in cirrhosis or a brewery. Lucky for us, it was a brewery and we have been brewing modern beer without filtration or pasteurization since 2016. In 2021 we purchased CK tanks in Fenetra / Clock brewery and moved all of our production into this cutting edge facility. Why Chroust? Our names are Karolína and Jirka Chroustovský.

Draft at Hetedik Lépcső, Budapest. Poured an almost black in colour with a big, frothy, light tan head. The aroma is big blackberry, light cherry. The flavour is moderate sour, with a smooth, somewhat rich, juicy blackberry, tart cherry palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Hazy orange colour, mid-sized white head. Malty, grassy aroma. Light-bodied. Grainy, citrusy and grassy flavour. A bit yeasty vibe.

getrunken beim Stand von Vorkloster am Gemüsemarkt in Brünn 🥬🫛🌽, wo es immer neue gezapfte Spezialitäten gibt. Es ist ein untergäriges Bier, das aber als IPA ausgelegt ist.So schafft man es die grasige 🌱 Spritzigkeit eines leichten IPAs mit dem süffigen Abgang eines Lagers zu verknüpfen. Wirklich schön komponiert mit feiner Aromenharmonie. Voll und trotzdem gemütlich.

Can 0.5l. Lightly cloudy, gold colored. AROMA- citrusy, citrus jelly, rice, some dried white grapes, pale plums. FLAVOR- neutral, lightly bitter, rice, citrusy grasses, floral, somewhat dusty. Medium bodied. Not so smooth as it should be. Not so tasty.

On tap at Žil Verne Bratislava, shared with Hrabren. Murky orange coloured, medium sized off-white head, some oranges and alcohol in the nose. Sweet and candy taste with notes of oranges, alcohol and herbs. Light caramel as well. Seems not so fresh.

Can 0.5l, one year aged. Clear, dark red to black colored. AROMA- roasted, coffee, pralines, touch of ash. FLAVOR- smooth and thick, slightly sweet and bitter, roasted, pralines, very slightly salty. Fuller bodied. Very good.
