Description

Bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of Marcin. Clear dark brown color with large soapy light brown head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, cocoa and herbs. Taste starts with moderate sweet malt, bitter chocolate and oats, following is milky, smooth and slightly sour with mild bitter finish. Medium body, creamy texture and lively carbonation in palate. Good one, but not astonishing as expected...

Draught. Black colour, brown head that does not stay long, decent lacing. Aroma is intensive nuts, also quite much coffee. Not much hops, just some resin. Light bitterness. Smooth. I like it.

Ciemna barwa, piana beżowa drobnopęcherzykowa pozostawia obrączkę. W aromacie wyczuwalne nuty gorzkiej czekolady oraz lekki karmel. Smak to głównie palone słody, kawa oraz gorzka czekolada. Nagazowanie średnie w kierunku wysokiego. Gorycz w niewielkim stopniu wyczuwalna.

Impressed by this one. Very soft malt base and acidity with leather funk and plenty of wine barrel presence. Light tannins. Very complex.

Big in every sense of the word. Tons of bread/toffee malts, hefty dose of bitter hops and plenty of bourbon booze. I like it! Thanks gnoff!

Bottle courtesy of Gnoff. Pours hazy reddish brown with a big frothy goldenish offwhite head that leaves some thick sticky lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and fruity with dark bread, caramel, lemon juice, lime juice, grape must, sweet forest raspberries, hay, moist wood, minerals, leather, barnyard and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, slightly sour, slightly malty, fruity and tiny funky. Mouthfeel is soft, slightly dry, slightly tart, very tiny tannic astringent and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sour and slightly funky with soft malts, balanced tartness and light tannic astringency. Very balanced sour... Surprisingly sublime really. Love this!
