# 2101; 6/2020. Strong grainy and malty aroma. Copper, hazy body; creamy off-white head. Sweet malty and caramely, grainy and herbal finish. Very untypicall pale lager - more closer to bohemian amber lager than bohemian pilsner. Boring beer. 0,5 l, brewpub, draught, Pilsen (Bohemia, CZ).

1l PET from the brewpub. Murky orange-ochre body, medium fluffy white head, fairly lasting. Slightly subdued but juicy aroma, stone fruit hoppiness, citric touches and light creamy oats. Odd taste, starts juicy but quickly dries up. Creamy, flowery, malty, quite juicy anyway, some mild hop burn, some mild oxidation touches, very nice mouthfeel, but I guess this has stayed a bit too long in the fridge. Quite enjoyable even though it's slightly flawed - might be interesting to try this fresh if they rebrew it.

Tap at the brewpub - shared with Motelpogo (thanks!). Misty orange-amber body, thick white head. Grainy aroma, light flowery-herbal hoppy touches. Lean, slick taste, carrot and light maltiness, odd but okay really, struggling to call it a pale, but as a random beer, it randomly kinda works.

Tap at the brewpub. Err, seems quite similar to the American Brown Rye IPA but the name is different, so I'm treating it as different till I learn they are the same - if they are, but likely not. Slightly hazy darker red-amber body, thick off white head. Rye dominates the aroma, light orange. Citric-driven medium smooth body, solid maltiness, some rye touches, overall subdued. Quite okay.
