About
Mazák Brewery from Dolní Bojanovice was founded in 2011.
The brewery was founded and continues to operate in the picturesque wine-growing village of Dolní Bojanovice, located in the Lower Moravian valley 8 km from the town of Hodonín.

Over the years, the technology was brought up to the current five-vessel brewhouse, in which the brewery is able to brew a batch with a volume of 1400L. The portfolio of the brewery consists of both classic Czech and German-style lagers, as well as top-fermented beers of the ALE type. To produce beer, it uses domestic malts and hops, as well as foreign hops, which are most often used in the production of special beers.

Tap at Damian. The bitterness is most prominent, the hops character somewhat muddled with light residual candyish maltiness and sweetness. What character is present is citrusy fruity. Easy drinking though, tasty and good beer.

Tap at Komin. Far less hops intensity than I expect in a single hops showcase beer. The hops character is on par with bready grainy maltiness and does not offer much besides a generic fruitiness. Good beer though, easy drinking.

Bottle at a tasting. Assertive coffee presence, one might even say overwhelming. It is obvious immediately that this was brewed with actual finished coffee rather than destructively utilizing the raw ingredient. Despite being mostly coffeeish it manages to stay within bounds of some kind of balance, coupling with roasted malt roastiness, slightly chocolatey coffeeish flavours, hints of black fruits. Body moderate at most, well attenuated and easy drinking. Moderate-light high carbonation. Great beer.
