Mazák Brewery from Dolní Bojanovice was founded in 2011.
The brewery was founded and continues to operate in the picturesque wine-growing village of Dolní Bojanovice, located in the Lower Moravian valley 8 km from the town of Hodonín.
Over the years, the technology was brought up to the current five-vessel brewhouse, in which the brewery is able to brew a batch with a volume of 1400L. The portfolio of the brewery consists of both classic Czech and German-style lagers, as well as top-fermented beers of the ALE type. To produce beer, it uses domestic malts and hops, as well as foreign hops, which are most often used in the production of special beers.

Med body, med-high carbo. Med-high bitter, med-light sweet. Med-light caramel, light rye malt. Med-high citrusy, med grassy, herbal, med-light zesty, resiny hops. Cleanish, drinkable, good.

Med-thin bod, med-high carbo. Med-high bitter, med-light sweet. Medium grassy, herbal hops. Light, rather subtle fruitiness, general, with light citrus. Mostly herbal grassy though. Easy drinking, cleanish impression, good.

750ml Bottle (Galerie Piva, Prague) - Golden yellow with a white head. Grassy aroma with subtle notes of lime. Relatively bitter and dry taste with notes of grass and herbs standing out. Fairly refreshing but the Saturn hops seem to have been used sparingly.

Thinnish bod, med-high carbo. Med sour, med-light sweet. Very simple lactic sour character, with citric overtones. Very subtle vanilla if at all present. Feels more like a lemon sour. Not bad, just not what is expected. Not a pudding at all.

Tap at Beer knír. Had hoped to catch it some weeks ago at Napalmě but it ran out... hope it didn't go down. Crystal clear paaaaaale golden body, off-white head. Trace diacetyl, some vague oxidation, herbal notes, honeyish malty touches in the subdued aroma. Medium-light body, neutral maltiness, low minerally, eggy notes, some herbal hoppiness, low bitterness... Doesn't feel fresh. It's... okay, drinkable, but expected more.

Tap at Malý pivo. Liiiiiightly hazy golden body, off-white small thick head. Lightly floral-hoppy and honeyish malty aroma. Bit grainy malty backbone, low floral and herbal notes. Low grainy-herbal finish. Bit underused for bitterness considering it's a bittering hop... Eh. Glad to try it, but...

# 4933; 3/2026. Strong citrus aroma, fruity aroma. Murky gold body, white head. Citrus, orange, malty, fruity, passion fruit. Meduim body, medium carbonation. Very good flavored golden ale. 0,4 l, draught, craft beer pub (Vezmi pivo na klobasu), Prague.

Weirdly metallic, oxidated. Lowish carbo, thin body. Watery. Med-high bitter, med-light sweet. Borderline ČIPAish, with light caramel and red fruit character, while actual hoppiness is muted. Meh.

Lots of cereal character, med-full body. Med-high carbo. Hops where though? Lmed bitter, light sweet. Just cereal more than anything though. Barely med-light citrusy hops character, feels bland, like literal oat bowl with little flavor. No cojones. Meh.
